On June 7 we spent our late afternoon into early evening at Nicoletta’s Pizzeria celebrating Negroni week!! Presented by Imbibe Magazine and Campari, Negroni Week formed and launched in effort to raise money for charities around the world. Since 2013, Negroni Week has grown from about 100 participating venues to about 6,000 venues worldwide, and to date, have collectively raised nearly $900,000 for all different charitable causes. For the past three years, our close friend Hristo Z, Altamarea Group and Campari has chosen Wheeling Forward as their charity in efforts to help raise money for individuals with disabilities. From 4-7pm on the lower eastside of Manhattan, Wheeling Forward and around thirty of our closest supporters gathered around a fabulous happy hour hosted by our friends at Nicoletta’s Pizzeria. Nicoletta’s Pizzeria served mouth watering appetizers such as, brick oven baked neapolitan meatballs over pomodoro sauce, fried porcini risotto arancini, crispy fingerling potatoes in pecorino truffle oil, amongst a variety of their signature custom made pizzas! Guests were able to choose between three signature Negroni cocktails containing various combinations of Campari, gin and sweet vermouth that sent our taste buds on an adventure!

The only way we can give back to our community and continue to provide the services to individuals in need, is by the support we receive from companies and friends the way we have from our friends from Altamarea Group and Campari!
