Lawrence has been a licensed physical therapist for over 20 years and is a leading expert in the care of people with spinal cord injury. Lawrence is on the staff of New York Physical Therapy and serves as an Adjunct Professor of Physical Therapy at Long Island University, Columbia University, Touro College and Hunter College. Lawrence has been instrumental in developing the Spinal Mobility Program and was involved in the creation of the Urban Outings Program.
